I savored the self-esteem and confidence I developed as a high school debater.  I always contemplated coaching as a career, but other pursuits and having twins delayed my return.  The first day as an assistant coach at Kearns High, my former high school, I knew coaching was my passion.  I often left Kearns High laughing to myself thinking, "Some day I am going to get paid to do this!"  Westminster's MAT program has helped give me a philosophical foundation for education and practical teaching experience.  I am thankful that I participated in the MAT program; I firmly believe that it has been extremely instrumental in setting me up to succeed.
